1. Services Provided

Lamkin Guitars offers services including but not limited to:

• Custom guitar building

• Instrument repairs and modifications

• Setups and maintenance

All services are performed with professional care. However, by engaging our services, you acknowledge and accept the terms outlined below.

2. Assumption of Risk for Instrument Handling

By bringing any instrument to Lamkin Guitars for service, repair, customization, evaluation, or consultation, you expressly acknowledge and agree to the following:

• You accept all risks of minor cosmetic wear or damage that may occur during normal handling, repair, or bench work, including but not limited to:

  • Small paint chips

  • Minor scratches

  • Finish checking or wear

  • Scuffs from clamps, tools, or workbenches

While we take great care in handling each instrument, the nature of our work—especially on vintage or delicate finishes—means there is always a risk of superficial or minor cosmetic blemishes.

3. Estimates and Approvals

All service work will be estimated before work begins. We will not proceed with work that exceeds the agreed estimate without your approval. Any changes or additional work requested after the estimate may incur additional charges.

4. Pickup and Storage

We request that all instruments be picked up within 14 days of completion notice. Instruments left longer than 30 days may incur storage fees. Instruments left beyond 60 days without prior arrangement may be considered abandoned and become property of Lamkin Guitars.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due in full upon completion of services. We accept [insert accepted forms of payment, e.g., cash, credit cards, digital payments].

6. Returns and Warranty

• Custom builds, modifications, and repair services are non-refundable once work has begun.

• If there is an issue with workmanship, we’ll gladly address it within 30 days of service. This does not cover issues arising from misuse, environmental damage, or further modifications by third parties.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lamkin Guitars shall not be held liable for:

• Minor cosmetic imperfections

• Pre-existing damage to instruments

• Loss or damage due to client failure to retrieve items in a timely manner

• Indirect or consequential damages of any kind

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and custom guitar designs, is the intellectual property of Lamkin Guitars and may not be used without permission.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website and are effective immediately upon posting.
